Our Story - From a Sketchbook to a Statement
The idea for Puiia was born not in a boardroom, but in a quiet studio apartment filled with notebooks, fabric swatches, and big dreams.
In 2020, during the early days of global uncertainty, our founder – a young creative with a background in design and a deep love for streetwear – noticed a gap in the market: comfortable basics that looked good, felt amazing, and stood the test of time. Too many clothes were overdesigned, underdelivered, or mass-produced without care.
Starting with just a sketchbook and a few hundred dollars, the first hoodie design was conceptualized: clean lines, relaxed fit, soft to the touch – something you could wear anytime, anywhere, and still feel like yourself.
From these humble beginnings, Puiia was launched online, powered by a simple yet powerful mission:
“To elevate the everyday wardrobe through comfort, quality, and conscious choices.”
Our first small batch sold out in days, and the feedback was clear – people were craving essentials they could trust. Since then, we’ve grown organically, thanks to our community, our obsession with quality, and an unwavering belief that less is more when it’s made better.
Where We Are Today - Behind the Seams
Today, Puiia operates from our creative headquarters in Texas, supported by a network of ethical manufacturers and fabric partners across Asia, primarily in Vietnam and Bangladesh. Our carefully selected factories are SMETA-audited, ensuring compliance with global standards for ethical labor, workplace safety, and environmental responsibility.

We’re not a fast-fashion brand. We produce in limited, thoughtful quantities to minimize overstock and waste, and we reinvest in improving the fit, finish, and feel of every product.

Every piece is designed in-house and tested on real people, not just mannequins, to ensure optimal fit, breathability, and movement.
